More than 1,700 wines were tasted in the world for the XX Bacchus International Contest, of which only 37 wines obtained the Gran Bachhus de Oro.
Of those 37 winners, 22 are Spanish wines and “Libro Once, Las Luces” from Las Moradas de San Martin is the only one that received the D.O. Vinos de Madrid, making your recognition even more special.
In the words of the winery’s technical director, Isabel Galindo, “this distinction is a source of pride, a recognition of the work of many years, of a historical legacy that we have in the winery and that shows that in Madrid we have high-quality wines, a world-renowned quality.
The range of “Las Luces” wines from this Madrid winery born in 2007 as a personal wine, with the aim of capturing the essence of a Garnacha (grape) over 100 years old, seeking to make it as natural and respectful as possible. It is a complex wine, whose elaboration can only be carried out when the weather allows it.
For all these reasons,“Libro Once, Las Luces” is the most exclusive wine from Moradas de San Martin, capturing the essence of Garnachas (grapes) from over a century and planted at more than 900 meters above sea level on granite, sandy soils and with lots of rocky outcrop.
Las Moradas de San Martin are located just one hour from Madrid. It is surrounded by centuries-old vineyards, considering itself a respectful winery with respect to the environment and that carries out biodynamic viticulture practices and has certifications in organic cultivation. Their wines are all vegan and are produced in an artisanal way, maintaining respect for the grape in all phases.
Responding to the initial question of how much is the price of a bottle of wine from “Libro Once, Las Luces”, it ranges between €30 and €36, this price variation is because the Winery has launched a pack that includes a book a drink and amounts to €36. You can get one of these wines in specialized stores, online and in Gourmet supermarkets such as the Corte Ingles.
