Although there are still a few months left until the end of 2023, the Community of Madrid has already approved the work calendar for the year 2024, which we already know will have 14 holidays, including the Day of Saint James the Apostle (July 25).
The decree was approved by the Community of Madrid and was sent to the State on September 30 with 12 fixed dates. On these two dates, each city council in the region will incorporate two others.
These will be the Holidays in Madrid 2024
- 1 of January New Year
- January 6: Epiphany of the Lord
- March 28: Holy Thursday
- March 29: Good Friday
- May 1: Worker’s Day
- May 2: Festival of the Community of Madrid
- July 25: Santiago Apostle
- August 15: Assumption of the Virgin
- October 12: National Holiday of Spain
- November 1: All Saints
- December 6: Spanish Constitution Day
- December 25: Nativity of the Lord
