The smallest nightclub in the world is in Madrid

Unless you travel to London in the UK, it’s very rare to see a phone booth on the streets these days, let alone one that’s a Nightclub that you can use for free.

Benjamin Uphues started this initiative in Berlin more than a decade ago, converting old telephone boxes into small nightclubs.

Sound system, laser lights, speakers and a unique exterior design have made these cabins a tourist attraction, even becoming a point to try to break records, for example, the largest number of people who have entered these cabins is ten .

In the case of Berlin, every weekend, there are long queues to use them, in Madrid there are few who know about them, until a TikTok user called Madrid4U uploaded a video showing the cabin and this has made it become more popular.

In the case of Madrid, the place where the only Teledisko booth is in the Garden of the Goethe-institut in Madrid (Calle Zurbarán, 21). Bought by the director of this institute who brought it to Madrid from Germany.

And the good thing about the one we have in Madrid is that, unlike the ones in Berlin, it’s completely free. Once inside, you have speakers and cameras that record your own private party and then mail it to you free of charge.

The Teledisko is connected to Spotify so you have a wide selection of music genres, unlike the ones in Berlin that work with a limited edition of songs.
