Manuel Turizo will give a free concert at Puerta de Alcalá in Madrid

On the occasion of the celebrations of Columbus Day 2024 in Madrid, The Colombian artist, Manuel Turizo will be the main protagonist of the massive concert at the Puerta de Alcalá in Madrid, this coming Sunday, October 6 at 13h, on the occasion of Columbus Day 2024. The artist will take over from Camilo and Carlos Vives in 2022 and 2023, in a day that will be full of surprises, with the aim of promoting the celebration of the language and the different Hispanic cultures.

Hispanidad 2024 is celebrated under the slogan‘All accents fit in Madrid‘, with artists from countries such as Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia, Chile, El Salvador, Mexico or Cuba, as well as national vocalists.

Manuel Turizo is currently one of the most prominent Hispanic musical figures of the moment, nominated for a Latin Grammy for ‘El merengue’ and awarded three Latin Billboard awards for ‘La bachata’, a song that already has more than 740 million views on YouTube. La bachata’ has also become the second most played Latin solo song in the history of Spotify, where it remained in the Global Top 100 for almost a year and reached platinum status in the US and 26 times platinum in Latin America.
