Hispanidad Madrid 2025 is the fifth edition of a major celebration of Hispanic culture in the Spanish capital.

This year, we will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Day in Madrid from October 3 to 12, 2025, coinciding with Hispanic Heritage Day (October 12).
For ten days, the city will host more than 150 free activities featuring music, film, literature, gastronomy, theater, and folklore, distributed across iconic venues: Plaza de España, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Puente del Rey, and Plaza de Colón, which will be added to the Hispanidad program, replacing Puerta de Alcalá.
This year, the Plaza de Colón will be used for the first time as a venue, where Gloria Estefan will perform a free concert on October 5th.
The Hispanic Heritage Parade will once again parade along Gran Vía, featuring Latin American folk groups.

On October 12th, Bomba Estéreo will perform live in Plaza de España.
Argentina is this year’s official guest country. Buenos Aires and its culture take center stage in the program.
As a novelty, the United States will participate for the first time in the Grand Parade on October 5, as a prelude to its role as guest nation in 2026.
Concerts and artists
We’ll be able to enjoy Gloria Estefan’s free concert on October 5th at noon in Plaza de Colón. The Cuban-born singer-songwriter, winner of nine GRAMMY Awards and with more than 100 million albums sold, will give a historic performance, revisiting her greatest hits.
The lineup also includes Eliades Ochoa, Henry Méndez, Babasónicos, María José Llergo, Mocedades, and Los Panchos, as well as the flamenco show from the Corral de la Morería in the Plaza Mayor.
These are joined by soloists and groups such as Aleesha, Bareto, Bon Calso, Çantamarta, Dillom, El Twanguero, Gerardo Morán, Karina La Princesita, Kevin Johansen + Liniers + The Nada, La Ganga Calé, Los Estanques & El Canijo de Jerez, Maestro Espada, Miranda!, Muerdo, Nidia Góngora, ORCAM, Orquesta Aragón, Rita Payés, Silvana Estrada and Tiraya.
Murcian singer-songwriter Muerdo joins the 2025 Hispanic Heritage Festival lineup with a free concert taking place in Madrid’s iconic Plaza de España on October 10th at 7:00 PM.
Cavalcade of Hispanic Heritage
On the afternoon of October 5th, Gran Vía will be transformed into a catwalk of traditional folklore and Hispanic identity.
This year, delegations from the United States and Latin American countries are participating for the first time.
