We will venture into a fairytale forest, following the beautiful waters of the Guadalix River until we reach the impressive and crystal clear Hervidero Waterfall. This is one of the best routes in Madrid, taking us through the lesser-known but priceless natural beauty of the region!
Did you know that San Agustín del Guadalix has a very rich past? It was home to Iberians, Romans and Visigoths and was under Arab rule for almost two centuries.
Halfway through our tour, we will stop for a relaxing picnic. Imagine: good food, great company and incredible views before we head back. This is an easy level route, covering approximately 12 km with very little elevation gain, perfect for everyone! And the best part: We will make a refreshing stop at the waterfall on the way back to forget about the heat of Madrid.

We will go by public transportation, so bring cash for the bus, (approx 3 euros round trip) which is not included in the price (under 26 years old free with Transport Pass). If you have your own car, you can bring it and take other participants with you to share the gas.
