Every week we explore the most beautiful territories of the Community of Madrid and a little more on our hiking routes! 🌏

Our next hiking adventure will be to Peñalara, another iconic route at top of Madrid’s region, the highest peak in the Sierra de Guadarrama. Considered a Natural Site of National Interest for its ecological, historical and landscape value.

A route suitable for the bravest and with good physical conditions, since we will reach to the peak of Peñalara at a height of 2428 m, in one of the most beautiful natural sites of the mountains, where we will enjoy incredible views, glacial lagoons , green meadows and with a bit of luck, its most famous inhabitants: the mountain goats. 🐐

In the middle of the tour, we will have a picnic to rest, eat and enjoy the area and begin our return.

This route is a medium/difficult level of approximately 14 km.

All our routes are accessible by public transportation, so we will go by bus, but if you have a car, you can bring it and share gasoline costs with other participants.Bus ticket is apart.
