Description

Let’s discover together the other fun side of Madrid by visiting these incredible landscapes with international people living in Madrid. You can practice other languages, enjoy nature. 🌳

In this spectacular route, one of the most classic and beautiful of the entire community of Madrid, we will visit an ancient pine forest known as the Pinar de los Belgas, enjoy the waterfalls and crystal clear streams of the Arroyo de la Angostura. A tour through which we will see the waters that will later form the Lozoya river and we will also keep discovering another part of the northern mountains of Madrid. ⛰️
The icing on the cake of the route are the beautiful natural pools or Socrates waterfalls, a beautiful waterfall that transports you to a Zen garden look-alike.
In the middle of the tour, we will have a picnic to rest, eat and enjoy the area and begin our return.

Easy/medium route of only 11km approx – Elevation difference 470m. Loop.

***We will go by public bus, please bring some cash. You can also come by car and share gas expenses with the other hikers.
