Although there are still a few weeks to go, January 5th is a very special date, as many families and individuals will be preparing to welcome the Three Wise Men in a parade. Three Wise Men in the Cavalcade with all the illusion and joy that distinguishes this event in Madrid. What many people do not know is that, for some years now, on January 5th, SOS Children’s Villages distributes a solidarity Roscón.
For this 2024 the place chosen for this distribution will be the Puerta del Sol and it will be from 12:00 am that the NGO Aldeas Infantiles will distribute the 10,000 portions of Roscón free of charge and accompanied by hot chocolate.
An hour before the celebration, at 11:00 a.m., the celebration will begin with live music and many other performances.
You can also contribute to the NGO by donating through the Aldeas Infantiles website, the donation can go from 10€ to 30€, with this you will be helping to cover the basic food and hygiene needs of the NGO’s programs in Spain.
Don’t forget to stop by Puerta del Sol on January 5th for the Roscón Solidario, a few hours before the Three Wise Men’s Parade.
