Only a small section goes through a pine forest. Children and adults can travel this path, as it is relatively short and with little unevenness. Upon return, you can take a circular route and contemplate the Ace\u00f1a reservoir. With a unique birch forest in the area, the Mirador de Mojonavalle and an ecological path between pines, oaks, yews and other trees (two of which have been classified as unique by the Community of Madrid), this excursion offers a beautiful show for lovers of nature. To get there, you have to go up the left bank of the river, following a path that leaves from the Canto Cochino car park (it usually fills up quickly). On the right bank, you will arrive at the Green Pool, also worth seeing. Here the Navazuela stream offers a small waterfall whose name, \u201cDucha de los Alemanes&#8221;, recalls the first mountaineers who took a shower in it at the beginning of the 20th century. To get there, we will take the forest path between the pines from Las Dehesas, leaving the pools aside, and walk along the old Roman road, along the Republica Highway and along the Victory Path. A little further up the trail, you will be surprised by a 15 m chorrera and more pools. Do not miss approaching the Pingarr\u00f3n refuge. Still, if we wish to go straight and not walk too much, we can start from the La Isla recreational area. Due to its proximity, this is a good option to go with children. Following the path along the Lozoya river, you immediately reach the old reservoir, whose wide waterfall served as the old light factory.
