“Navacerrada” Siete Picos-La Ruta del dragon October 18th

Let’s discover together the other fun side of Madrid by visiting these incredible landscapes with international people living in Madrid. You will be able to practice other languages, enjoy nature. 🌲⛰️

Our next destination: Navacerrada: 7 peaks or the Dragon’s Crest, a place in the Sierra Norte of Madrid, with one of the most beautiful hiking trails, where we will discover its rocky mountains, beautiful giant pine forest and meadows. We will climb the 7 peaks, those visible from the city of Madrid where we will have spectacular views.

Halfway through the route, we will have a picnic to rest, eat and enjoy the views and start our return.

How to get there?
All our routes are accessible by public transport. We will go by bus, but if you have a car, you can bring it and share the gas costs with other hikers.

1. Wear comfortable walking or hiking boots or sneakers– your feet will thank you!
2. Bring at least 1.5 liters of water– stay hydrated!
3. Pack some food for lunch (a sandwich, fruit, snacks, etc.).
4. Don’t forget the sunscreen to protect your skin.
5. And don’t forget your camera: the views of the reservoir surrounded by mountains are postcard-perfect!

We will go by public transport, so bring cash for the bus, (approx 10 euros round trip) which is not included in the price (under 26 years old free with Transport Pass). If you have your own car, you can bring it and take other participants with you to share the gas.
