In this route, we go for a walk to an authentic medieval village: Chinchón, always among the most beautiful villages in Spain of any self-respecting list. 🏰
We will discover in the easy level hiking tour (approximately 9km only) some of its wonders, forests, vineyards, olive groves, and visit its Renaissance castle (palace), its famous Plaza Mayor, breathtaking views of Madrid.
Chinchón’s historic center, declared a Historic-Artistic Site, where the church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, the Clock Tower and, of course, the Plaza Mayor, a lively space that has been the scene of markets, festivals and celebrations for centuries, stand out.
On our tour we will visit an old wine cellar in a pleasant guided tour with wine tasting.

Easylevel, about 8 km with gentle slope, perfect to enjoy the scenery without haste.
Halfway through the tour, we will enjoy a picnic on the banks of the Lozoya River, overlooking the Riosequillo reservoir. Good food, good company and fresh mountain air before heading back.

We will go by public transport, so bring cash for the bus, (approx 10 euros round trip) which is not included in the price (under 26 years old free with Transport Pass). If you have your own car, you can bring it and take other participants with you to share the gas.
