Let’s discover together the other fun side of Madrid by visiting these incredible places with interesting people living in Madrid. You can practice other languages and enjoy nature.

On this route we will enter a forest that mixes the evergreen of Scots pine withthe spectacular yellow and ochre tones of the oaks in the middle of autumn. We will climb mountain trails that will take us, passing through Pico de la Pala, to the summit ofPerdiguera Peak. It is located in the north of the Community of Madrid and in it we will enjoy the views and the great scenic and ecological beauty of the area,dyed with the colors of the season. This route offers us one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the mountains, climbing through fields and woods to the highest peak of this range. Spectacular 360-degree views of La Cuerda Larga, Peñalara, the Madrid skyline in the distance and the entire valley await us.

When we reach the summit of Pico Perdiguera, our highest point and half of the route, we will have a picnic to rest, eat and enjoy the views about this autumnal landscape before starting our return along the same path.

A route of MEDIUM-High level Of some 10 km (round trip), suitable for people with a good habit of walking in the mountains, and of great scenic beauty, especially at this time, in one of the most beautiful natural enclaves in the mountains.

🕘 TIME: 8:40, arrive a few minutes early please.

All our routes are accessible by public transport, since Plaza de Castilla leaves us directly in Miraflores de la Sierra. If you prefer to go by car, go ahead and share seats and expenses with other participants.

What do I need to bring?
  1. Wear comfortable hiking boots, your feet will thank you!
  2. Bring at least 1.5 liters of water– stay hydrated!
  3. Pack some food for lunch (a sandwich, fruit, snacks, etc.).
  4. Don’t forget the sunscreen to protect your skin.
  5. And, of course, a lot of adventure!

We will go by public transportation, so bring cash for the bus, (approx 3 euros round trip) which is not included in the price (under 26 years old free with Transport Pass). If you have your own car, you can bring it and take other participants with you to share the gas.

  1. A whatsapp group will be created the day before or the day of the event to share photos, send information about the trip and stay connected in case of emergency.
  2. Remember that no-shows and late arrivals will not be refunded or rescheduled, so please be on time for the trip.

By purchasing the cancellation insurance you will be able to cancel and receive a full refund or change the date up to 24 hours prior to the trip. This way you guarantee not to lose the full amount of the trip due to change of plans, illness, personal issues, etc.

– A refund or change of date may be requested within 24 hrs after the reservation has been made.
