Summer is getting closer and the city’s swimming pools have already opened their doors for the people of Madrid to enjoy these facilities. In this guide we will give you all the information about the summer swimming pools in Madrid for this spring-summer season 2025.
Madrid City Hall Swimming Pools
This year, the three shifts will return : one in the morning (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.), one in the afternoon (4 p.m. to 9 p.m.) and one all-day shift (10 a.m. to 9 p.m.), and QR codes at the entrance and exit of the facilities. Full-day tickets allow you to leave and re-enter on the same day.
It is necessary to book in advance for the municipal swimming pools of Madrid. Reservations can be made on their website, or through the app Madrid Móvil. Tickets can be purchased 45 hours in advance of the requested shift and in both, 80% of the tickets will be on sale, leaving the remaining 20% for sale at the ticket offices of each sports center 30 minutes before the start of the shift.
Tickets at the box office are reserved for those affected by the technological gap, such as those over 65 years of age, madridmayor.es card holders and holders of the special sports card.
Prices for morning or afternoon shifts are as follows:
- Children under 5 years old: free
- Children (from 5 to 14 years old): 1.35 Euros
- Young (15 to 26 years old): 1.80 euros
- Adult (27 to 64 years old): 2.25 euros
- Senior (from 65 years of age): 0.70 euros
Prices for the full day are as follows:
- Children under 5 years old: free
- Children (from 5 to 14 years old): 2,70 euros
- Young (15 to 26 years old): 3.60 euros
- Adult (27 to 64 years old): 4,50 euros
- Senior (from 65 years of age): 1.35 euros
Swimming pools in the Community of Madrid
Tickets for the four pools managed by the Community of Madrid can be booked through this link or through the DeportesCM app.
Prices will be the same as last year: 5 € per session.
- Free for people with a recognized degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%, also their companions, as well as for children under 3 years old and victims of terrorism; free for holders of the Youth Card in San Vicente Paul, Parque Deportivo Puerta de Hierro and Canal de Isabel II.
- 20% for Youth Card holders in M86. 30% discount for seniors over 65 years of age, children between 3 and 13 years of age inclusive, and members of large families.
Complutense University summer swimming pools
The summer swimming pool of the Complutense University will have these prices in 2025: 4,50 € for Staff, Students and Alumni UCM (10 baths voucher: 25 €); 6 € for non-members UCM (10 baths voucher: 50 €).
