Embark on an exciting day trip to the windmills in Consuegra and the historic city of Toledo. Starting in Consuegra, you will marvel at the breathtaking scenery dotted with iconic windmills towering over the hills. These windmills are symbolic landmarks of the La Mancha region and have been immortalized in the famous novel “Don Quixote”.
You will be able to explore the windmills, discovering their history and learning about their cultural importance and their role in flour production in the past. In addition, you will enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the La Mancha countryside from the top of the hills.
After the visit to the windmills, you will head to the charming city of Toledo, known as the “city of three cultures” due to its rich Christian, Jewish, and Muslim heritage. Arriving in Toledo, you will get lost in its narrow cobblestone streets and admire its medieval architecture, such as the majestic Gothic cathedral and the impressive Alcazar. In addition to its churches, synagogues and mosques, we will enjoy the unique atmosphere of this historic city.
