Let’s discover together the other fun side of Madrid by visiting these incredible landscapes with international people living in Madrid. You will be able to practice other languages and enjoy nature.

On this spectacular route, one of the most classic and beautiful in the entire community of Madrid, we will visit an ancient pine forest known as the Pinar de los Belgas, and enjoy the waterfalls and crystal-clear streams of the Arroyo de la Angostura. A route along which you will see the waters that will later form the Lozoya River and discover part of the northern mountains of Madrid.

The cherry on the cake of the route is the beautiful pools or waterfalls of Socrates, a beautiful waterfall that transports you to a Zen garden.

Halfway through the route, we will have a picnic to rest, eat and enjoy the views and start our return. This is a medium level route suitable for everyone in good physical condition

What do I need to bring?
  1. Wear comfortable walking or hiking boots or sneakers– your feet will thank you!
  2. Bring at least 1.5 liters of water– stay hydrated!
  3. Pack some food for lunch (a sandwich, fruit, snacks, etc.).
  4. Don’t forget the sunscreen to protect your skin.
  5. And don’t forget your camera: the views are postcard-perfect!

We will go by public transport, so bring cash for the bus, (approx 10 euros round trip) which is not included in the price (under 26 years old free with Transport Pass). If you have your own car, you can bring it and take other participants with you to share the gas.

  1. A whatsapp group will be created the day before or the day of the event to share photos, send information about the trip and stay connected in case of emergency.
  2. Remember that no-shows and late arrivals will not be refunded or rescheduled, so please be on time for the trip.

By contracting the cancellation insurance you will be able to cancel and receive a full refund or change the date up to 24 hours before the trip. This way you guarantee not to lose the full amount of the trip due to change of plans, illness, personal issues, etc.

– For a full refund, at least 3 days notice must be given.

– A refund or change of date may be requested within 24 hrs after the reservation has been made.

– There are no refunds or exchanges if you arrive after the departure time or do not show up for the trip or event.
