Toledo & Windmills – February 15th

Day trip to the windmills in Consuegra and the historic city of Toledo . We will start our trip in Consuegra, you will marvel at the stunning landscape dotted with the iconic windmills that rise above the hills. These windmills are iconic symbols of the La Mancha region and have been immortalized in the famous novel ” Don Quixote of La Mancha “.

You will be able to explore the windmills, discovering their history and learning about their cultural significance and their role in flour production in the past. Plus, you will enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the fields of La Mancha from the top of the hills.

After the visit to the windmills, we will go to the charming city of Toledo known as the ” city of three cultures ” due to its rich Christian, Jewish and Muslim heritage. Upon arrival in Toledo, you will get lost in its narrow cobbled streets and admire its medieval architecture, such as the majestic Gothic cathedral and the impressive Alcazar . In addition to its churches, synagogues and mosques, we will enjoy the unique atmosphere of this historic city.
